This 80-hour training program is designed specifically for current and aspiring Senior High School (SHS) teachers under the Department of Education (DepEd) who are handling or planning to teach STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) subjects. The course provides educators with the essential pedagogical and content knowledge, innovative strategies, and digital tools necessary for effective STEM instruction. Participants will explore a range of learner-centered approaches such as inquiry-based learning, project-based learning, and the integration of real-world applications in STEM education. The course also covers curriculum alignment with the DepEd SHS STEM track, development of assessment tools, digital integration for online and blended learning, and practical teaching demonstrations. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to design and deliver engaging, contextualized, and standards-based STEM lessons that foster critical thinking, collaboration, and innovation among learners. Successful completers will receive a digital certificate of completion, equivalent to 80 training hours.
